To enable communication over SSL, you must install a certificate as well as modify the application server configuration so it responds to the appropriate ports.
To install a certificate, please follow the steps below.
- Generate a local certificate
The system will the prompt you with the following questions:
- Generate a CSR. A CSR is a certificate request and is the file that is sent to the Certificate Authority (CA) to obtain a valid certificate
- Submit the CSR to the CA
- Import the Chain Certificate from CA
- Import the certificate provided by the CA
