The directory search feature provides "White Pages" type of functionality. It allows you to search for an active user in the system based on any combination of the following criteria:
- Last Name
- First Name
- Phone Number
- Department
Searches based on last name and first name automatically include a wild card parameter. If you enter a search criteria of last name equal to "s", the system will search all users whose last name start with "s".
Once you have entered successful search parameters, you will see a search result list as shown below. Click on View to see more detail.
On the detail screen, you see information that is available publicly. This may include contact information, the persons immediate supervisor and direct reports. The availability of supervisor and direct report information provides for a basic organization chart.
