For the authentication policy to be utilized, it needs to be associated with a security domain. To create the association between a policy and the security domain, please follow the steps below:
- Select Administration from the top level menu.
- Next, select Security Domain.
- Upon selecting a security domain, you will see a list of existing security domains. Select a domain that you want to work with, or create a new domain.
- Next, you will see the screen below.
- From the Authentication Policy drop down, select the authentication policy that is to be associated with this security domain.
Note: The OpenIAM Webconsole uses the security domain IDM. The selfservice application uses the Default Security Domain. These have been separated to provide an additional level of separation between end user functions and administrative functions.
